GWAR have announced a run of US headlining shows in May and June celebrating their 40th anniversary. The new dates will bookend their previously announced North American tour as direct support for Static-X.
The first six shows run from May 16th in Columbia, South Carolina, through May 22nd in Austin, Texas, while the other two gigs take place June 20th in Pensacola, Florida, and June 21st in Pelham, Tennessee. Toxic Holocaust will support the first six shows, while EYEHATEGOD will support the final two gigs, with Aether Realm and Tracheotomy opening all dates. A special May 17th concert in Lexington, Kentucky, will also feature co-headliner Arch Enemy.
A Live Nation pre-sale starts Thursday (February 20th) at 10 a.m. local time using the code DUET, while a general on-sale begins Friday (February 21st) at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster.
