TOGETHER: FEEDING NASHVILLE, nonprofit Feeding Nashville’s first live benefit concert, opened FirstBank Amphitheater – located inside the 138-acre Graystone Quarry in Thompson’s Station at the southern border of Franklin, TN – to a SOLD-OUT crowd in support of raising awareness and funds to combat local food insecurity on Tuesday (8/3). Led by Hayley and Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard alongside Taylin and Tennessee Titans’ Taylor Lewan, net ticket proceeds and other event revenue and donations directly impacted the important cause with a total of over $450K raised.
“We’re still on cloud nine and feeling overwhelmed with all of the love that everyone poured into TOGETHER: FEEDING NASHVILLE. So many lives will be impacted by the incredible generosity from our community and we are forever grateful,” shares Hayley Hubbard. “We’ll definitely be reliving this special night for a long time and dreaming up the next one!”
Taylin Lewan adds, “Words can’t describe the support we have felt from our entire community. Our drive and devotion to serving Feeding Nashville is stronger than ever!”
“Tuesday night played like a country music mixtape come to life, with Florida Georgia Line stepping in as de-facto DJ,” hailed The Tennessean. With a rotating all-star lineup of artists, the MULTI-PLATINUM superstar duo welcomed a “slew of country stars on stage” (The Tennessean), as they weaved notable appearances in-between their own full set of megahits. Hosted by SiriusXM The Highway‘s Storme Warren as the emcee, the powerful night full of music and community featured multi-song performances by Thomas Rhett, Maren Morris, Russell Dickerson, and Lily Rose, with special guests Chris Tomlin, Chase Rice, and Ryan Hurd popping up for one-of-a-kind collaborations. Capping off the landmark event with a larger-than-life “Cruise” encore, Nelly, BRELAND, and Blanco Brown surprised the packed house with Florida Georgia Line, Russell Dickerson, Lily Rose, and Chase Rice. Fans can tune in Saturday (8/7), as CMT Hot 20 Countdown airs interviews from backstage at TOGETHER: FEEDING NASHVILLE with host Cody Alan (9 a.m. ET/8 a.m. CT).
In addition, Entertainment Tonight was on-site capturing all of the action – watch here and catch the segment re-airing this weekend (check local listings) – as host Cassie DiLaura also conducted an onstage Q&A with Feeding Nashville founders Hayley Hubbard and Taylin Lewan alongside Storme Warren. Thanking the 7,500+ audience for championing their inspiring mission, they were brought to tears with the emotional surprise of FirstBank reps Chris Holmes, Jeanie Rittenberry, and Lenai Augustine presenting a $20K check to further boost their fundraising efforts. Founded in April 2020, Feeding Nashville is focused on continuing to provide healthy meals to at-risk students, low-income patients, and homeless individuals locally, while utilizing a network of regional chefs.
