Papa Roach brings their Crooked Teeth Tour to the Fillmore in Detroit with guests Nothing More and Escape the Fate.  Lined up around the block,  fans quickly filled a sold out venue.  It’s always a good crowd at the Fillmore but tonight, even the 3rd floor balcony had been completely opened to accommodate demand for seats in the house.

Escape the Fate wasted not one moment.  They came out swinging as the building approached capacity.  ETF brings melodic and passionate style of rock and roll that also packs a punch. A high energy band that I’ve had several opportunities to see,  they never disappoint. CLICK HERE FOR THE ENTIRE ESCAPE THE FATE GALLERY

Nothing More soon followed to find a crowd primed for some great rock and roll.  Powered by Jonny Hawkins’ amazing voice.  The fans were entranced by the energy put on display.   Nothing more performs at a level that not many can pace.  The band keeps you on your toes going from ballad to war within song.  For those seeing Nothing More for the first time,  they are truly jaw dropping.  Watching Jonny atop of the mechanical scorpion can be mesmerizing.  The crowd treated them like any other headlining band,   screaming the words to the songs and hands in the air.  The band left the stage with the fans wanting more. Fortunately for Papa Roach,  they had no problem keeping up that momentum.  A now fully 100% hyped crowd has already gotten their moneys worth with these two heavy hitting openers. PR’s new alum , Crooked Teeth, really brings the Papa Roach fans back full circle.  Not only back to their roots but in my opinion, a fine tuned OG version of their work.  At some shows, you can see the crowds energy vary based on the era of music the band is playing.  For this show,  there was no real separation.   The fans and the band were on level 10 for the whole set.   Jacoby Shaddix works the entire stage and addresses the crowd regularly,  the fans love it.  Papa Roach is on the top of their game with this latest CD and many fans share my sentiment.  Papa Roach gives their fans a complete show.  Loud but crisp audio,  dazzling lights,  and plenty of great rock and roll hits old and new.  CLICK HERE FOR THE ENTIRE PAPA ROACH GALLERY
